Physical Therapist (Full-Time)

Location: Red Clay County Area, Delaware
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Could possibly be a floating position between schools

About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team supporting students in the Red Clay area of Delaware. The ideal candidate will have experience working in educational or pediatric settings and be committed to helping children and adolescents achieve their mobility, developmental, and educational goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current Delaware Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Previous school-based Physical Therapy experience.
• Experience working with children and/or adolescents with school system.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Physical Therapist experience required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
