Dining Services Cook (Healthcare) - Lake Manassas Health & Rehabilitation Center

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dining Services Cook (Healthcare) to join our team at Lake Manassas Health & Rehabilitation Center, a brand new facility committed to providing world-class rehabilitation care in Gainesville, Virginia. Our passion is our patients' success, and we're looking for a talented cook who shares this passion and is dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our residents and patients.

About the Role:

As a Dining Services Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and nutritional value of our meals, while promoting a positive dining experience for our residents and patients. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as planning and executing special events and occasions. Your expertise will help us maintain a clean and safe food environment, adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve delicious and nutritious meals to our residents and patients, ensuring compliance with dietary requirements and restrictions
Plan and execute special events and occasions, such as birthday celebrations and holiday meals
Maintain a clean and safe food environment, adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation
Collaborate with our dietary team to develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents and patients
Monitor inventory levels and make purchasing decisions to ensure efficient use of resources
Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with residents, patients, and colleagues
