Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite in our outpatient office located in Riverside, a vibrant community in California known for its scenic views and outdoor recreational opportunities. Work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life structure. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and tools to support efficient patient assessments and treatment, ensuring our PTs have what they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and formulate personalized care plans that encompass promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.
• Manage a caseload with a target of one patient per hour, delivering focused and individualized care.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to implement effective and efficient treatment interventions aimed at improving patient mobility and function.
• Explore and provide cost-effective therapeutic options, reducing reliance on medications and emphasizing non-surgical interventions where suitable.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Engage in patient education, motivating them to adhere to their rehabilitation protocols and lifestyle adjustments.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and the best possible outcomes.
• Stay current on best practices in physical therapy through continuous education, training, and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient practice primarily serves a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a physical therapist at Strive, you will interact with a variety of demographics, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and older adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your ability to customize care plans and exercise routines to meet their specific requirements will be pivotal to their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California (CAA).
• No historical board or disciplinary actions on the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate positive patient relationships.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required. Candidates should demonstrate a hands-on approach to therapy, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and be comfortable utilizing modern therapy interventions such as dry needling and therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

Strive Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package.
