Job Description
The Restaurant Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring efficient seating coordination for guests. Working within a small team, this position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager, the host/hostess supports smooth daily operations without the need for travel and works variable shifts including weekends and holidays. This role offers growth opportunities within the restaurant team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival
- Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
- Handle incoming phone calls professionally
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the host area
- Request reviews and customer feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in customer service
- Strong customer service orientation
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Good time management skills
