This role will focus on accurate and timely invoicing to our customers. This position is also responsible for ensuring all payments are received within the defined terms. The Billing Specialist is responsible for collaboration across all levels to achieve departmental and organizational goals./ppstrongResponsibilities/strong/pulliInvoice assigned customers timely and accurately/liliAddress billing questions and discrepancies timely/liliVerify invoice procedures and validate customer contracts/liliEnsure payments for assigned customers are received within terms by managing their open Accounts Receivables/liliCommunicate with internal and/or external customers/liliCollaborate with the Field to complete tasks in a timely manner/liliAct as a resource for other functions within AWP/liliProvide training and support as requested/liliEstablish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers/li/ulpPerform other duties and/or special projects as assigned/ph3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school diploma or GED required/lili3-5 years AR/Billing experience preferred/liliPay application, lien waiver, and contract management experience preferred/liliStrong customer service skills/liliBasic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology; strong math skills/liliExcellent verbal and written communication/liliProblem-solving skills/liliCritical thinking skills/liliDemonstrate high degree of accuracy and attention to detail/liliExcellent organizational skills/liliOutgoing assertive personality not afraid to approach individuals/liliProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word)/liliMicrosoft Dynamics 365 and/or TCR experience preferred/li/ulh3Additional Information/h3ulliHours of operation are M-F, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m./lili40-hour work week/liliSalary range $20 - $25 p/hr depending on experience/liliPrimarily sedentary or working at a desk/liliOccasionally lift and move 10 -25 pounds/liliWhile performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear/liliProficient literacy/liliThe employee frequently is required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms/li/ulpAWP Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
