Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney in St. Louis, MO. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of client representation in workers' compensation cases, providing guidance to non-attorney staff and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Duties
- Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim status.
- Interact and negotiate with insurance companies.
- Draft case materials, correspondence, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
Requirements
- Active Bar license in Missouri; Illinois license preferred.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
Skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Committed to providing superb, responsive, and compassionate client service.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal relations.
