Job Overview A law firm seeks an attorney specializing in workers' compensation to join their team in St. Louis, MO. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of client representation in workers' compensation cases, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Duties Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim status. Interact and negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients. Draft case materials, correspondence, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements. Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared by you and your team. Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings. Provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff. Requirements Active Missouri Bar license. Eligibility to obtain an Illinois Bar license. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active Missouri Bar license.
