Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a PACU setting, monitoring and managing recovery from anesthesia
• Float as needed to main PACU, pre-op, ICU, and sister facility units within scope of practice
• Participate in rotating day and night shifts, including weekends, on-call assignments, and holidays as scheduled
• Deliver high-acuity patient care consistent with ICU-level nursing standards when required
• Adhere to all facility compliance policies, scheduling requirements, and traveler guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (strongly required)
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• Ability to float within scope of practice with no restrictions
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, on-call, and holidays as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Combined ICU and PACU experience strongly preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version accepted)
