Prevailing Wage Specialist

Job Description
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Pulling payroll reports from Spectrum and entering data into the appropriate prevailing wage software (LCPtracker, Foundation, Knowify, etc.) for each project
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting certified payroll reports for 25+ active prevailing wage jobs
- Ensuring compliance with federal (Davis-Bacon), state, and local prevailing wage laws and requirements
- Verifying correct wage rates and classifications for each project and job location
- Monitoring apprentice utilization, including apprentice rules, ratios, and registration requirements
- Applying and tracking allowable deductions and fringe benefit credits
- Maintaining accurate prevailing wage records and documentation for audits and agency requests
- Responding to compliance requests from general contractors, owners, and awarding agencies
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies between payroll data and certified payroll submissions
- Supporting the payroll team and the Director of Benefits & Compliance with other compliance projects as needed
