E-Commerce & Digital Merchandising Specialist Fashion, Beauty & Cosmetics
Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Duration: 6+ Months – Contract
Schedule: General – Onsite
Industry Experience: Fashion, Beauty, Cosmetics, or Retail Required
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced E-Commerce & Digital Merchandising Specialist with hands-on experience in the Fashion, Beauty, Cosmetics, or Retail industry.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of e-commerce, digital merchandising, CMS/website content management, creative content production, and digital asset management (DAM) experience. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple digital projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and update e-commerce websites and digital content using CMS platforms.
- Support digital merchandising activities, including product placement, promotions, campaigns, and landing pages.
- Manage product imagery, creative assets, links, pricing, and promotional content.
- Perform detailed website QA, content proofing, and validation to ensure accuracy.
- Review digital content for accuracy, consistency, functionality, and brand alignment.
- Coordinate with merchandising, creative, marketing, and digital teams on content and campaign requirements.
- Support creative production and digital asset management activities.
- Organize, maintain, and update digital assets within DAM systems.
- Use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite for digital content and creative production needs.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and digital deliverables simultaneously.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of digital initiatives.
- Identify content or merchandising issues and coordinate appropriate corrections.
- Experience in the Fashion, Beauty, Cosmetics, or Retail industry.
- Hands-on experience with E-Commerce and Digital Merchandising .
- Experience managing website content through CMS platforms .
- Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Background in Creative Production and Digital Content .
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Creative Suite .
- Strong attention to detail and content accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting fashion, beauty, cosmetics, or retail e-commerce websites.
- Knowledge of product content, online promotions, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
- Experience performing website QA and content validation.
- Familiarity with digital creative workflows and asset management processes.
