What You'll Do
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments following prescribed protocols
- Perform treatment simulations with accuracy and attention to detail
- Fabricate shielding blocks necessary for patient safety
- Maintain precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Prepare equipment for patient treatments, performing quality control and assurance tests
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and practices
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff to deliver quality patient care
What You Need
Required:
- Radiation Therapist license in Michigan
- Previous experience in radiation therapy or oncology preferred
- Ability to perform treatment simulations and safety procedures
Preferred:
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance protocols
