Human Resources Associate

Human Resources Associate – Salem, NH (Hybrid, 4 days in office, 1 day remote) Responsibilities Recruiting process: execute recruitment for staff‑level and some senior‑level hires, including requisition approvals, job posting, sourcing, phone screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer presentations. Attendance and PTO tracking: review electronic timesheets, follow up with employees and managers. New hire paperwork: prepare and maintain documentation, enter data into HRIS, ensure orientation and onboarding. Termination process: handle voluntary terminations, prepare payroll documents, schedule exit interviews. Performance reviews: send reminders, handle pay‑change documents during review cycle. Documentation and approvals: assist HR Manager with change, new hire, and termination documents, ensuring approvals and payroll deadlines. Policy and procedure inquiries: respond to employee and manager questions about company policies. Miscellaneous: participate in corporate‑initiated HR projects, maintain files, compile reports, act as resource to staff and managers. Qualifications Minimum 3 years HR experience. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent education/experience. Experience with Workday is a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive confidential information discreetly. Proficiency with HRIS and other HR‑related software. Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary and employee benefit package.
