We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist who takes payroll accuracy seriously, thrives on deadlines, and communicates with confidence. What You’ll Do Monitor employee timesheets daily in Job Tread across all active projects Compare employee timecards against supervisor daily logs — identify and document all Generate and distribute the weekly Job Tread compliance tracking report to project foremen Follow up with foremen and employees to ensure all corrections are made before payroll deadline Upload all approved employee time data to Gusto by end of day Tuesday each week Verify payroll submissions are accurate and confirmed in Gusto Maintain organized payroll and compliance records Communicate professionally with foremen and employees to resolve timesheet issues Our Payroll Cycle Payroll Period Monday through Sunday Timesheets Due End of day Sunday (from all employees) Gusto Deadline End of day Tuesday — no exceptions Pay Frequency Weekly What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or a similar administrative role Gusto experience preferred — similar payroll platform experience accepted Job Tread or similar project management/time tracking software experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — Excel, Word, Outlook required Strong attention to detail — accuracy is non-negotiable in this role Ability to meet strict weekly deadlines consistently Professional communication skills — you will work directly with foremen and employees Ability to maintain confidentiality of all payroll information WSI is willing to train the right candidate with relevant foundational experience Must adhere to all WSI company employment policies and handbook Must have a working smartphone and valid means of transportation Compensation & Schedule Pay $18–$25/hr depending on experience Schedule Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Standard Office Hours | In-Office Benefits Generous 401(k) | Health Insurance | Vacation & Sick Leave
