At a dynamic technology location, Allied Universal is hiring a Screener to help monitor access points, verify credentials, and support security‑related screening activities with professionalism and care. This role combines strong communication, visible presence, and customer service to help discourage incidents while creating a welcoming experience. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday-Friday, 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen people, bags, packages, and/or equipment entering or leaving the location in accordance with established post orders and client guidelines. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Monitor entry points, visitor flow, and restricted areas to help support security‑related operations within a fast‑paced technology location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting conditions that may require follow‑up or additional security‑related attention. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Possess 5+ years of security‑related experience. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
