As a Security Officer Entry Access in Summerville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support a secure environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong communication. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service while helping with badge access and security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive-related location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at gates and designated access points while following post orders and reporting maintenance, access, and/or operational issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
