30hop Restaurant & Bar in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Front of House Lead to join our team!

We're looking for a hospitality-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing teams, creating memorable Guest experiences, and driving operational excellence.

As a Front of House Lead, you'll help lead daily restaurant operations while supporting, coaching, and motivating our hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff. Compensation: Starting at $20/hour, with higher compensation available based on experience

Schedule

• Full-time exempt position
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required

What You'll Do

• Lead and support daily front-of-house operations
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals and expectations
• Coach, train, and develop hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff
• Monitor service standards, staffing levels, and overall Guest experience
• Provide real-time feedback and performance coaching to team members
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and operational execution
• Step into service roles when needed to support the team during busy periods
• Address Guest concerns professionally and create positive resolutions
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies
• Identify facility, maintenance, or equipment concerns and communicate them appropriately
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management or hospitality leadership experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout a shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
