Senior Systems Analyst - Maximo Specialist

The Senior Systems Analyst will lead the transformational implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) to replace the existing Maximo system. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, designing system solutions, managing integrations, and supporting large-scale IT projects focused on asset management. The analyst will ensure quality assurance, documentation, and ongoing system support to enhance enterprise work management processes. Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite to replace legacy Maximo systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
• Manage system integrations with other enterprise systems and ensure continuity of Maximo services.
• Document and review business processes, procedures, roles, and responsibilities using BPMN standards.
• Support the development of the Enterprise Work Management Program.
• Develop technical scope documentation for procurement and system requirements.
• Assist in defining enterprise standards and common work management processes.
• Evaluate system and design options, including documenting non-functional requirements.
• Manage quality assurance activities including test planning, test case development, execution, and user acceptance testing support.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and prepare status reports and summaries.
• Prepare business operational procedures, training materials, and identify sustainment needs.
• Provide ongoing project support as required by the Project Manager.

• University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of application systems experience, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong expertise with IBM Maximo Asset Management / IBM Maximo Application Suite (v7 or v8) with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience evaluating and documenting business workflows, procedures, roles, and systems integration strategies using BPMN.
• Proven experience in QA and testing techniques, including planning, test data creation, functional testing, and facilitating UAT in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Maximo implementations focused on asset management areas such as planning, preventative maintenance, capital project delivery, contract/vendor management, service requests, and work orders.

• Experience with HP ALM suite or similar test management tools.
• Knowledge of emerging IT concepts such as mobile computing, GUI design, document management, business/data modeling, business intelligence, Agile methodologies, and network-centric computing.
• Public sector experience.

• Must be able to work onsite at least 3 days per week.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and lead workshops without conflict.
• Strong communication skills for preparing clear, understandable documentation and reports.

• Standard work schedule with a requirement for partial onsite presence (minimum three days per week).
