Commercial Room Leader

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Commercial Room Leader to oversee pharmaceutical packaging operations in Allentown, Pennsylvania on second shift. The role involves managing team members, ensuring GMP compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmaceutical packaging room operations while maintaining GMP standards
• Lead, train, and mentor packaging technician team members
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and drive process optimization
• Ensure quality standards and documentation compliance for all operations
• Coordinate logistics and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 4 years manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry
• Leadership experience with ability to train, mentor, and guide team members
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and quality systems
• Proficiency with SAP and other manufacturing systems
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations and reconciliation
• Physical capability to stand/walk extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in controlled environments including cold rooms and clean rooms
