BACK OFFICE MEDICAL ASSISTANT for CONCIERGE INTERNAL MEDICINE Practice in SANTA MONICA

JOB DETAILS

Provide care for patients in a concierge, internal medicine practice with a low-volume, high-service care model

Assist with patient intake, taking vitals and rooming patients

Handle general Back Office duties including blood draws, EKGs, specimen handling/processing, and Vaccine administration

Assist with Front Office duties as needed including phone triage and messaging, prior authorizations, scheduling (patients, consultants, imaging), and Medical records management: scanning, uploading, labeling

REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least one year of experience in a Medical practice

Experience performing blood draws & injections required

MA Certification & Phlebotomy Certification required

Experience with Practice Fusion EHR or ability to adapt quickly

Successful background check and up to date flu/Covid vaccinations

Excellent written and verbal communication, and patient-service skills

SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Monday-Friday, 35hrs a week, 8am-4pm (1hr unpaid lunch)

$23-$26 Depending on Experience

50% Paid Medical, PTO, Sick, Holidays, Retirement
