Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Hospitalist (Nocturnist), you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Lincoln, specializing in diagnosing and treating paitients making a significant impact on their lives and families. Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families. To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Hospitalist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment. Night Shift Working 7p-7a in collaboration with a nocturnist APP. Hour requirement 1728 per year (144 - 12 hour shifts). 16 Bed Open ICU with intensivist support. Procedures are optional. Job Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska Strong clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with families and healthcare professionals Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families Where You'll Work CHI Health is the largest faith-based health system in Nebraska and southwest Iowa, serving patients through a comprehensive network of hospitals, clinics, and specialty care locations.
