Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver nursing care for obstetric patients and their families during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases.
- Manage emergencies and provide circulating support for C-sections as needed.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
- Adapt to evolving clinical situations and participate in unit-based quality and safety activities as required.

Requirements
- Ability to work in a Labor and Delivery setting and participate in obstetric care.
- Competent communication with patients, families, and team members; teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Availability to work night shifts and fulfill a 12-hour shift pattern.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with emergencies in obstetric care.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for the duration of the contract.
