Customer Care Specialist I (Manheim)

Customer Care Specialist – Individual Contributor at Cox Automotive. Flexible hybrid work with remote duties. Hourly base pay $16.59 – $24.86 per hour, plus potential commission or incentive compensation. Primary Duties / Key Responsibilities Receive and respond to customer requests via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems. Listen actively and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions. Troubleshoot and resolve standard technical and account‑related issues. Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams or specialists. Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in company systems. Follow security protocols when accessing customer information. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Support customer education and training as needed. Maintain customer relationships through quality service delivery. Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (minimum). Generally less than 2 years of customer‑service experience. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Basic knowledge of computers, internet, and email. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in a contact‑center, metrics‑driven environment. Experience working in the automotive industry (preferred). Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge. Ability to operate under tight pressure. Bilingual English‑Spanish preferred. Must pass a pre‑employment drug test.
