The Director, SAP Transformation Solutions is the presales, go-to-market and strategy leader for customers moving from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA within NTT DATA Business Solutions. The Director is the trusted partner for ECC customers, guiding them through what the move to S/4HANA involves and presenting migration options across technology, solution and data. The role defines our strategic options for ECC to S/4HANA, including ECC to public cloud, and can successfully position our portfolio offerings to make NTT DATA the partner of choice while also growing the clients SAP footprint. Success is measured by booked revenue with existing customers and net new prospects. Sales support is the primary focus, with demand generation as a secondary contribution. The Director works with the Delivery team to obtain estimates; Delivery owns estimation. This is not a delivery role and does not have a delivery utilization target. This is an AI-first role. Duties And Responsibilities Presales and Sales Support Partner with Account Executives, Solution Advisors and sales leaders to qualify, shape and win ECC to S/4HANA opportunities with existing customers and net new prospects. Act as the trusted partner for ECC customers, explaining what the move to S/4HANA involves, what to expect and how to prepare. Present migration options for technology, solution and data, including Brownfield, Selective Data Transition, Greenfield and RISE with SAP, and recommend the best fit for the customer. Lead executive workshops, roadmap sessions and customer presentations that establish credibility with decision makers. Lead the presales response to ECC to S/4HANA RFPs and proposals, including solution narrative, approach and positioning. Engage the Delivery team to obtain estimates and provide presales feedback into statements of work and estimates. Delivery owns estimation and delivery. Deliver a clear sales to delivery handoff for won opportunities, and monitor delivery engagements at a strategic, high level to learn what works and improve our solution offerings. Transformation Strategy and Offerings Define our strategic options for ECC to S/4HANA, including ECC to public cloud. Maintain a current, sales-ready view of our ECC to S/4HANA conversion offerings, approach and customer success strategies. Know the full network of portfolio offerings, including our intellectual property and digital innovations, and position the right combination for each customer’s commercial needs. Continuously grow knowledge of market trends, SAP direction and customer strategies for ECC to S/4HANA transformation, and reflect them in our positioning. Capture win/loss results, customer feedback and delivery learnings to continuously improve our offerings, approach and presales materials. Partners and Go-to-Market Interface with SAP to help generate demand and create new sales opportunities for NTT DATA. Support sales leadership and Account Executives in proactively engaging SAP to promote our thought leadership. Engage hyperscalers and strategic partners on ECC to S/4HANA programs, incentives and joint pursuit strategy. Support demand generation through events, webinars, executive briefings, content and campaigns aimed at the ECC customer base. Collaboration and Enablement Collaborate with Industry Principals, Solution Advisors, delivery executives and sales leaders to create compelling presales. Educate and coach Account Executives, Solution Advisors and delivery teams on ECC to S/4HANA positioning, so presales strategies scale across the team. Share reusable assets, customer success stories and lessons learned. AI-First Ways of Working Bring an AI-first mindset to the role. Adopting and using AI tools to improve internal operations and customer success is required. Apply AI to presales work such as discovery, content and proposal development, and analysis, and share what works with the team. Position Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field. 10+ years of SAP experience, with deep expertise in ECC to S/4HANA transformation approaches, including Brownfield, Selective Data Transition, Greenfield and RISE with SAP. Experience advising customers on technology, solution and data migration options. Presales, solutioning or business development experience supporting SAP sales pursuits, including RFPs and proposals. Strong executive communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Working knowledge of scoping and estimation practices, and the ability to partner with delivery teams on them. Demonstrated adoption and use of AI tools, with an AI-first mindset. Preferred SAP certifications relevant to S/4HANA, SAP technology or SAP cloud solutions. Experience with SAP public cloud ERP and RISE with SAP. Experience working with SAP and hyperscaler partner ecosystems. Background at an SAP consulting firm, systems integrator or reseller.
