Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job

Overview Registered Nurse (ICU) travel assignment in Gardner, Massachusetts. Start date: 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,775 to $1,890. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,775–$1,890 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 36‑hour day shift, 7:00 am–7:30 pm; every 3rd weekend/holiday Start date: 06/22/2026 Setting: hospital ICU travel assignment in Gardner, MA Responsibilities Assess and reassess patient conditions; plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient goals per standards of care and unit policies Provide direct patient care, including monitoring critical physiologic parameters, administering medications/IV therapies, and managing complex care needs Interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms; evaluate arterial blood gases and hemodynamic data; support ventilation and airway management as needed Support postoperative patients in the immediate recovery phase; monitor for complications and respond promptly to changes Collaborate with multidisciplinary team; participate in daily rounds; assist with discharge planning and patient/family education Document thoroughly and timely; communicate patient status and responses to the health care team; uphold safety and quality standards Adhere to evidence‑based practices such as VAP bundles, infection control, and medication reconciliation Requirements Current Massachusetts RN license ACLS upon hire OR must hold an active BLS card and obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire; CCRN preferred Minimum 1 year of med‑surg experience; telemetry experience required; ICU experience preferred Education: Graduate of accredited nursing program Ability to work in a hospital ICU environment; comfortable with high‑acuity, rapid‑response situations; able to work a 36‑hour shift and rotating schedule Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract Fast credentialing process Nationwide travel assignments Extension opportunities Additional Information Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
