Synex Talent is excited to announce an opportunity for an Oncology Data Specialist to join our dedicated team in Northborough. This full-time, remote position allows you to leverage your expertise in the health and fitness industry while contributing to cutting-edge oncology research and data management.
As an Oncology Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing oncology data to support vital research initiatives. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals and researchers to ensure data integrity and contribute to projects that enhance patient care and treatment strategies. This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 annually, along with opportunities to grow and advance in your career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect, manage, and analyze oncology data for research projects
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret data findings
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on data analysis
- Assist in the development and implementation of data management protocols
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in oncology data management
- Provide support in data entry, validation, and quality control processes

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in data management or a related role
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software (e.g., Python, R)
- Strong understanding of oncology and healthcare data standards
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
