• Shift: 24-hour call coverage (7 am 7 am) on specified dates
• Hours/Week: Variable (on-call shifts)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• Certification: Active Board Certification with ABOS, MI License, MI CDS, MI DEA
• Experience: Prior orthopaedic surgery experience preferred

• Hourly Rate: $1.00 (note: pay is discussed upon application)

What You'll Do:

• Provide orthopaedic call coverage at a verified Level III Trauma Facility
• Manage general ortho cases including fractures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions
• Consult on complex or sick patients as needed, with transfer of more complicated cases
• Collaborate with a full surgical team including PAs and digital radiology staff
• Support wound care management through assigned General Surgeons
• Ensure timely response to ED consult requests during on-call shifts
• Maintain quality patient care in a fast-paced, efficient environment

What You Need:

• Active ABOS Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
• MI medical license, MI CDS, and MI DEA
• Experience in Total Joints and general orthopaedics highly preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible, 24-hour on-call shifts
