This position is responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role partners with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements, support production, and lead initiatives that drive operational excellence. Work Type: Onsite at our Delhi, Iowa facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts. Identify and implement improvements in productivity, quality, and safety. Support production teams in troubleshooting process or equipment issues. Lead or support projects involving new equipment, tooling, and process changes. Develop standard work, work instructions, and process documentation. Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams on cross‑functional initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Knowledge / Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in process or production engineering. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and project management skills. Proficient in CAD software and ERP systems. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Skills and Abilities Detail‑oriented and data‑driven, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Hands‑on, solutions‑focused engineer with a continuous improvement mindset. Physical Requirements Continuous standing; repetitive motion of hand/wrist. Ability to lift up to 33 pounds. Intermittent bending, crouching, repetitive motion of elbow/shoulder, and pushing/pulling. Work Environment Exposure to typical manufacturing areas and requires use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and sometimes hearing protection. Work environment may include a workstation equipped with a computer as required for the job. Team member must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop floor safely including walking and standing for up to four hours at a time.
