Registered Nurse - ICU

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN Day Shift role in an ICU setting. Key Responsibilities Include Performing comprehensive assessments, including admission, transfer, and post-procedure evaluations. Developing, coordinating, and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and protocols. Administering medications, IV fluids, and providing patient and family education. Recognizing changes in patient condition, implementing appropriate actions, and documenting care and responses. Providing specialized high-risk care, including restraint use, pain management, and abuse assessment. Maintaining safety, infection control, and adhering to policies and procedures. Collaborating with healthcare team members, ensuring effective communication, and providing quality, cost-effective service. Engaging in professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practice. Delivering age-appropriate care to adult and geriatric patients. Supporting a respectful, compassionate environment by demonstrating empathy, teamwork, and professionalism. Qualifications And Skills Current RN licensure in applicable states (Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Wisconsin) with BLS certification. Ability to perform assessments, collaborate, adapt to changing demands, and maintain safety standards. Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-centered care skills. Commitment to infection control, professional growth, and service excellence.
