Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with call | Hours: 6:30–15:00 | Expect to work some holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-volume operating room environment
• Support surgical procedures across multiple service lines including General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, and ENT
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required prior to start date (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Experience in General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, and ENT surgical services
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Requested time off must be submitted with application
• Must pass an on-site drug screen (panels include: Amphetamine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Methadone, Opiates, Oxycodone, PCP, Marijuana, and Buprenorphine); failure will result in cancellation of assignment
• All required compliance documents expected within 3 business days prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric surgical experience
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
