Job Summary: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler Aurora, Colorado. This position provides post-anesthesia nursing care in a pediatric setting, supporting patients during recovery. The assignment is scheduled for a 13-week duration, with rotating day shift start times. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts are 10 hours (9:00 AM7:30 PM) with rotating start times (0700, 0800, 0900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1600) and 4 shifts per week; minimum hours per week are 40.0, Monday through Friday. Weekend call includes 8-hour shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with shift coverage at 07001500, 09001700, 15002300, and 23000700. Weeknight and weekend call coverage and additional holiday shifts may be required.
• Required Qualifications: BSN required; minimum 2 years of PACU experience required; pediatric PACU experience required (must be clearly documented in work history/comments); pediatric experience and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) experience; previous pre/post experience; previous travel experience required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience specifically related to pre/post care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: No RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment; medical and religious exemptions from the seasonal influenza vaccine are permitted; holidays are additional shifts with an expectation of 23 eight-hour shifts per holiday.
