Regional HR Manager - Retail

Managing Partner, HR Executive Search and Temporary HR Staffing Leading retailer with locations in Northern VA (primary work location is in Woodbridge). Fortune 500, NYSE-listed, $17B company. Great CHRO and HR org. We need a strategic HR Business Partner with ER exeprience. Responsibilities Understands, keeps abreast of industry trends and complies with federal, state and local employment laws Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions Builds strong, trusting relationships with frontline team members and team members at all levels Partners with the Regional Leadership Team to provide support to the stores Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues Reviews and makes recommendations to the Sr. Director for improvement of the organization’s policies, procedures and practices on team member matters Communicates changes in the organization’s team member policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed Provides consultation and training to management on human resource matters Plans, designs and develops human resource-related initiatives that support the organization’s mission Takes a leadership role in developing a culture that enables team members to perform in a professional and safe work environment Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities Partners with other HR departments to accomplish all HR department goals and initiatives Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr HR Search Co.
