Job Details Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Albany, Georgia Type: Travel nursing assignment Duration: 17 weeks Start Date: September 14, 2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Shift Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Openings: 2 Charting System: MEDITECH Care Setting: Acute care Med/Surg unit Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required, including at least 1 travel assignment BLS certification through AHA required NIHSS certification through AHA required Experience with MEDITECH electronic health record preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-based acute care environment Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to patients in an acute care setting Assess patients, monitor changes in condition, and respond appropriately to clinical needs Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and discharge planning Document accurately and consistently in the electronic health record Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:5, with potential for 1:6 based on unit needs Float as needed to support other acute care and cardio units for medical or patient-hold coverage Why This Travel RN Opportunity?
