Travel Nurse Job Details Specialty: Medical Surgical / Acute Care Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Location: Albany, Georgia Duration: 24 weeks Start Date: 8/31/2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Charting System: MEDITECH Care Setting: Acute care hospital Registered Nurse Requirements Active Registered Nurse license At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required, including 1 travel assignment BLS certification from AHA required NIHSS certification from AHA required MEDITECH experience preferred Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize patient care, and float as needed Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and acute care patients Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe outcomes Document patient assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record Support patient flow and assist with unit needs across designated acute care areas Maintain a professional, team-focused approach throughout each shift Why Consider This Travel Nursing Job?
