Work for a Central New Jersey (Somerset County) area high quality, ultra-precision machine job shop.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.Making precision parts for the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries.CNC Lathe/Milling Set-Up/Programmer Our client is seeking a highly-skilled CNC Lathe/Milling Set-Up/Programmer to join their team.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming and operating CNC Lathe/Milling machines, with a strong mechanical knowledge and background of various equipment and tools.Duties:Interpret complex prints to program and machine parts from challenging materials on Okuma CNC turning centersSet up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce parts according to specificationsPerform quality checks using calipers, micrometersInterpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbolsCollaborate with engineers and production team to optimize manufacturing processesMaintain tooling inventory and ensure proper tool selection for each jobAdhere to Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste Requirements:10 years of CNC machining experience5 years of CNC programming experienceAt least 1 year experience with MasterCAM programming softwareStrong knowledge of lathe and mill tooling/insertsxhyhwjd Familiarity with GD&T principles for part inspectionAbility to use calipers, micrometers, and other various inspection equipment for quality checksOkuma conversational programming experienceKnowledge of Lean manufacturing practicesPrevious experience in tooling selection and maintenanceFamiliarity of AS9100 standards Pay Range: $35-40/hour Jackson Tuapante Synerfac Technical Staffing Phone: View phone number on us.fitly.work
