Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in Kansas City, MO This position involves providing patient care in a 20-bed unit specialized in nephrology, kidney transplants, and renal care. The role includes collaborating with a team that involves unit secretaries and PCTs, adhering to unit policies, and supporting patient needs. The assignment offers a guaranteed 48-hour workweek within a scheduled shift.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience; certifications include BLS; educational requirement includes an ADN; location requirement is in Kansas City, MO.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Med/Surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, and dialysis
• Additional Information:
  • The unit is a Level 1 trauma designated area.
  • Staff work three weekends per month.
  • No on-call responsibilities.
  • Float policy requires agency/contract nurses to float first.
  • Virtual nurses handle patient admissions; bedside nurses focus on patient care.
  • Dress code is royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants permitted.
  • An awards/recognition program highlights team effort.
  • The role is for a period from 08/24/2026 to 11/23/2026.
