This role will provide coverage to both Auburn and Covington Medical Center locations. Employee should have EPIC experience and be able to work a minimum of 4 dates per month, to include potential weekend rotation. Should a shift not be able to be worked, alternative dates must be provided (in collaboration with Leadership). PRN staff are expected to work a minimum of 1 holiday per year and maintain all annual education requirements, on shift (if census allows) or on an additionally scheduled date.**FTE:** 0.01, **Shift:** Days, **Schedule:** Variable**Position Summary**The Speech Pathologist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, providing clinical services and communication with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community. This professional position will allow you to apply your extensive knowledge and expertise in of speech pathology with all of your patients.**Responsibilities*** You will provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations* You will perform patient assessments with physician and develop treatment plans* You will perform and interpret results of Videofluoroscpic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic of swallowing* You will confer with physician and other health care professionals**Requirements*** Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association OR be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP in accordance with standards defined by the ASHA* Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit* Current BLS Certification required* Previous Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred**About Auburn Medical Center** MultiCare Auburn Medical Center, serving South King County since 1921, is a 195-bed hospital with 58 behavioral health beds, a Family Birth Center, Level II NICU, Level III Trauma Center, MultiCare Regional Heart & Vascular Center, and advanced surgical services including robotic-assisted procedures. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
