Business Office Coordinator

Job Highlights Position is a part time position requiring 3 or 4 days per week. Position Summary Assists Business Office Manager (BOM) with billing, accounts receivable, and collection activities. Posted Salary Range USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr. Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Duties & Responsibilities Ensures integrity and confidentiality of all patient financial data. Performs collection activities for patient carriers. Establishes and maintains a system of financial record keeping to include issuing receipts, preparing and making bank deposits, and recording payments using proper segregation of duties. Interacts with payors to define billing requirements and ensures prompt payment of claims. Manages census activities including daily, weekly, and monthly balancing with the nursing and admissions departments. Produces reports for analysis purposes as needed.
