Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2420 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nevada license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Required to pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring rhythm strips; failure of the exam will result in contract termination.

Unit Details: Patient population includes treatment of CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMIs, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, Covid, and post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU. Medications include non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc.).

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period.

Floating Requirements: May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medically appropriate assignment, medical surgical units, as well as Renown Regional. Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
