Epidemiologist 1 Details

• Hybrid schedule primarily remote with monthly in-office attendance in Nashville, TN
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm CST
• 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
• 12-month contract, renewable

Epidemiologist 1 Duties

• Build and maintain data collection systems in REDCap to support the CHANT care coordination program
• Prepare routine reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for internal and external partners
• Implement SAS code changes and REDCap project updates as program needs evolve
• Provide technical assistance to non-technical staff on REDCap and related systems
• Develop data outputs and visualizations for the CHANT program
• Fulfill ad-hoc data and analysis requests from leadership and stakeholders
• Translate programmatic requirements into appropriate data collection design

Epidemiologist 1 Qualifications

• Masters degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, statistics, or health information OR masters in health science, biomedical science, or environmental science plus 2 years of relevant experience
• Extensive REDCap knowledge and hands-on build experience required
• Proficiency in SAS or comparable statistical software
• Must be a current Tennessee resident or willing to relocate prior to start
• Experience with public health data (vital records, health surveys) preferred
