Sales and Community Engagement Manager

Dogtopia of North Brunswick , the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual to join our team as Sales and Community Engagement Manager. This position, known internally at Dogtopia as the Pet Parent Relationship Manager (PPRM), also serves as a key support to the General Manager. This is a role for someone with a management and operations background who understands hard work, how to deliver and train others to provide top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care. This person should love dogs - and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!

• Must love dogs

• Sales and customer service experience

• Ability to work flexible hours

SALES INITIATIVES

• Convert lead calls to Meet & Greets

• Schedule Tours/Meet & Greets

• Conduct follow-up calls with leads that did not schedule

• Assist the General Manager with employee performance reviews, coaching, and positive recognition.

• Express in actions to pet parents our Dogtopia-isms

• Enter completed registration forms - review for completeness

• Assist the General Manager with staff scheduling and monitoring daily staffing needs.

• Assist the General Manager in maintaining appropriate staffing levels and responding to employee callouts as needed.

• Support the General Manager in coaching and developing the team while contributing to a positive, team-oriented culture.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRESENTATION

• Practice the 3 Ss (smile, story and satisfaction)

• Always finding new ways to improve the Meet & Greet tour scripts

• Conducts walk-in and scheduled tours of facility

• Complete pet parent's new client forms

• Be knowledgeable on pricing and services

• Respond to web inquiries as soon as possible but within one business day

• Answer all questions, concerns and complaints with urgency and care

• Assist with customer check in and check out

• Assist with appointment setups

• Strive for high customer review ratings!

SALES & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES

• Build and maintain relationships with pet parents

• Host and participate in community events and local partnerships

• Manage social media presence and content calendar

• Develop and execute local marketing campaigns

• Drive awareness and generate new business through community outreach

• Track and report on marketing results and growth opportunities

• Collaborate with team on promotions and special events

• Support loyalty programs and customer retention initiatives

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support day-to-day front desk operations as needed

• Ensure accurate pet parent and pet records and maintain data integrity

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area

• Help train and mentor Front Desk Associates

• Communicate effectively with pet parents and team members

• Adhere to all Dogtopia policies, procedures, and safety standards

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus tied to sales and retention goals.
