Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate is responsible for performing payable processes and procure-to-pay related activities. Will take on more advanced responsibilities such as complex reconciliations and handling more significant portions of financial transactions.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Weekly and month end reconciliation of all accounts.
• Ensure all expenses are processed accurately and deal with queries in a timely manner and in accordance with Plexus guidelines.
• Liaise with HR and payroll to ensure accurate payroll data. Payment of payroll taxes. Reconcile all accounts.
• Payment of proforma invoices and reconciliation to the balance sheet.
• To ensure that all supplier queries are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Six (6) years of related experience is required; Six (6) or more years of related experience is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications:

• Excellent math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Excel skills
• Intermediate decision making and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Possess good organizational skills
• Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
