Audit Manager

We are a top CPA firm seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned public accounting professional with strong governmental audit experience who is looking to take on a leadership role with a respected CPA advisory firm. What You\'ll Do Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion Oversee governmental and municipal audit engagements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and seniors Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports for accuracy and compliance Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and build strong, long-term relationships Identify accounting and financial reporting issues and provide recommendations to clients Assist clients with complex accounting, auditing, and compliance matters Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and team resources Ensure audits are performed in accordance with GAAS, GASB, and applicable governmental auditing standards Stay current on changes to accounting and auditing standards and communicate relevant updates to the team and clients What We\'re Looking For Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of public accounting audit experience Prior governmental audit experience required CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification strongly preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and GASB standards Experience with governmental entities, municipalities, school districts, or other public-sector organizations Previous experience supervising and mentoring audit professionals Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and client-service skills Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines Why Join Us?
