Pay Package: Up to $2,470/Week

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,470
• Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,224
• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,246 (for eligible travelers)

Travel RN - Emergency Department (ED) | Days | New York | Up to $2,470/Week

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in New York . This opportunity is ideal for experienced travel nurses with pediatric emergency care experience who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department.
Schedule

• Shift: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM
• Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed
• Floating: Required
• 13-Week Assignment
• 75-mile radius rule applies
• Local candidates accepted (local pay rate applies)

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction (MI), cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and other emergency conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions.
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun .
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.
• Float to other units as required.

Requirements

• Active New York RN License .
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• Current AHA BLS , ACLS , PALS , NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) , and TNCC certifications ( TNCC must be active at the time of submission ).
• Experience using Epic EMR.
• Charge Nurse experience is highly preferred.
• Specialty skills checklist.
• Current driver's license with address matching submission demographics.
• NURSYS verification showing an active New York RN license and all active RN licenses.
