2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Job Description

The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor oversees a production team of 10-20 employees during the second shift, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety protocols. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role focuses on managing the team effectively within standard shift hours, promoting continuous process improvements, and maintaining production scheduling.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the production team on the 2nd shift
Manage team performance and provide ongoing training and support
Create and adjust production schedules to meet demand and maximize efficiency
Ensure quality assurance standards are consistently met throughout the shift
Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Monitor workflow and implement process improvements as needed
Track and report on team performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years experience in production supervision
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong background in production management and team leadership
Experience with quality control and safety compliance
Proficient in scheduling and problem solving
Effective communication and time management skills
