Infectious Disease Physician Opportunity

Western Infectious Disease Consultants PC (WIDC) is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial infectious disease physician to join an established practice in existence since 1982. This is a unique opportunity for a part-time physician looking for a flexible role in beautiful Colorado.

Details:

Flexible schedule to accommodate work-life balance

Practice is 100% infectious disease with inpatient and outpatient care, antimicrobial stewardship, infection control, and outbreak management

Current outpatient practice includes HIV, PrEP, Hep C, Infusion, Travel Clinic, Telemedicine, and opportunity for wound care

(3) Day clinic days per week

12 weekends per year on-call (about 1 in every 4 weekends)

PRN hospital rounding with advance scheduling opportunities

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease

We offer a unique salary model with growth potential. In addition, we offer full spectrum of benefits including health insurance, dental, and vision. WIDC pays for long-term disability and provides a flexible CME allowance. 16 PTO days paid at $425 per day as well as phone and auto stipends. Malpractice, all dues, and credentialing fees are paid by WIDC. WIDC also has a generous Profit-Sharing plan. Relocation costs will be reimbursed.

WIDC is completely physician owned and managed. We are not part of any hospital system but we provide services to all hospital systems in the Denver-Metropolitan area.
