Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients, with ongoing assessment of maternal and fetal status.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal conditions; respond to non-reassuring tracings; assist with intrapartum interventions as ordered.
- Administer medications and assist with analgesia, anesthesia support, and postpartum care per physician orders.
- Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, nursing, and ancillary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care; participate in emergencies and rapid response as needed.
- Document assessment, care, and outcomes in the electronic health record; maintain safety, privacy, and infection-control standards; prepare for delivery and postpartum discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families about labor, delivery expectations, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum self-care; provide emotional support throughout the perinatal period.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (or eligible for multi-state/compact licensing where applicable for travel).
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) and 4x12-hour schedule; able to meet assignment location requirements.
- Travel-ready with flexibility for a 13-week assignment; strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
