You'll serve as a trusted business partner, helping guide financial strategy, improve operational performance, strengthen internal controls, and provide meaningful insights that support executive decision-making. What You'll Do As Controller, you'll lead the day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations while helping drive the company's financial success. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities include: Lead all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business planning Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insight and recommendations that influence strategic decisions Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures Oversee the general ledger, account reconciliations, chart of accounts, and month‑end close process Manage accounts payable operations and vendor approval processes Supervise accounting and inventory functions while developing and mentoring team members Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives Participate in Lean initiatives and stay current on financial and operational best practices What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree is a plus) CPA designation strongly preferred 5-10 years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience Manufacturing accounting experience required Experience leading and developing accounting teams Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to executive leadership Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Why Federal Heath?
