Office Services Representative

Office Services Representative St. Louis County’s Department of Revenue seeks an Office Services Representative to join the Collector of Revenue team. The position performs a wide range of office support functions. Responsibilities Receive, open, sort and distribute U.S. and interoffice mail. Respond to inquiries and provide information and assistance to the general public in person, by telephone or by mail as required by individual County Department concerns. Assist with providing tax waivers for personal property tax inquiries. Perform routine account maintenance on tax accounts. Provide documentation such as tax receipts or other tax records upon request. Assist with organizing invoices and payments for internal processing. Monitor, maintain and update reports, logs, lists, spreadsheets and databases. Input information from forms and other source documents to establish and update records. Maintain files and records. May provide assistance or backup to other staff as needed. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Current payment of personal and real property taxes in St. Louis County. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the public sector or government. Experience in financial fields.
