Performance Improvement Coordinator

Core Responsibilities and Qualifications Coordinating system-wide performance improvement activities, reporting results, facilitating PI teams, assisting teams in defining, collecting, analyzing measurement data, and recommending process improvement. Knowledge of healthcare best practices and process improvement methodologies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team, demonstrate tact, discretion, and diplomacy. Leadership and teaching ability. Work under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Model professionalism and serve as a role model for others. Knowledge of the Performance Improvement/Opportunity Management Model. Strong analytical and interpretive skills, results oriented. Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Nursing, Healthcare/Business Administration, or a closely related field, or, in lieu of the aforementioned degree, an additional two years of related work experience. Experience 1 year in clinical healthcare operations, performance/process improvement, project management, and analysis, or a closely related field. License & Certification If hire is a Registered Nurse: State of Practice License or NLC/eNLC Multistate License required. Basic Life Support required. Core Job Functions Promotes and teaches the PI process throughout the department and organization. Responsible for PI project management through planning, implementation, and follow-up, mostly related to clinical improvement opportunities. Responsible for clinical integration of system and hospital initiatives within Perioperative Services. Collects and analyzes measurement data on outcomes and performance improvement activities. Trends and reports risk-related issues throughout the department and organization. Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
