Part-Time Outreach Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Part-Time/Temporary Outreach Coordinator for our client in the Bronx. In this role you would participate in recruiting efforts, provide administrative support, perform community outreach, as well as assist students and families. Person must be organized, community-focused and flexible.

Previous experience in education and/or non-profit is preferred. Must be able to work, part-time, 5 days a week, 4-6 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Schedule student interviews and orientation sessions
• Communicate with parents/guardians to gather required documentation
• Track student progress and maintain accurate digital records
• Organize, file, and manage intake documents and informational materials
• Follow up on student referrals and intake communications
• Participate in weekly outreach activities, including:
• • Delivering flyers to schools
  • Collecting documents
  • Attending recruitment and community events
  • Promoting programs to students and families

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
• Proficient in data entry and recordkeeping
• Comfortable interacting with students, parents, school personnel, and community members
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in both office and community settings
